This project, funded by DOE, was conducted to generate estimates of county-level flows for selected energy commodities, i.e. coal, crude petroleum, natural gas, gasoline, diesel, and fuel ethanol, by mode of transportation. 

I am currently involved in developing a nationwide freight flow data for public, the Freight Analysis Framework (FAF). I use Iterative Proportional Fitting (IPF) with consideration of multi-level marginal totals.
